XZBMW  BMW E39 M5 Mileage adjustment
Hi

a friend of mine has just had a replacement cluster fitted on his E39 M5 - the car was purchased from an online salvage website and the mileage of the cluster is LOWER than what the engine should have - the car had a missing cluster and LCM

Is there a solution via OBD to change the mileage ?

BMW tool 1.4 should work, zero mileage, disconnect IKE or battery for a minute, reconnect, link EWS to IKE

BMW scanner 1.4 will NOT set km to zero at dashboard . There probably must be memory M35080 who must be programmed with programmer and LCM it can be done with BMW scanner.
