Code out EMF on Fx series (Solution)
Hello , I would like to share my finding about disable EMF for in this case F07 GT , but KOMBI is the same (F1x F07 F01...)
Customer come in service to check what is happening with his parking brake , it was EMF control module ( well know bmw fault ), his car is automatic and he said he never even pull his Parking Brake so he don't need it and it is really expensive. So I found solution how to code it out ( no error on dash) I managed to do it even with Bimmercode (expert mode) , can be done also with Esys How? In KOMBI you need to change CC_AKTIVIERUNG_4 to this custom value : 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0x00 0xFF That is all , no more EMF error code ! |

Thanks!
How do you find these codes in the hex value? I mean how do you know that 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0x00 this one is EMF 0xFF |

yes it was good to know how to discover these values, even to remove the errors of the cameras when they are working correctly but in the kombi the error appears.
Thanks |

RE: Code out EMF on Fx series (Solution)
If OP would at least read and UNDERSTAND knowledge on this forum, he would realize that this disables ALL of the following:
CC-ID 240 – Parking Brake Failed CC-ID 241 – Parking Brake Failed CC-ID 242 – Parking Brake Failed CC-ID 243 – Parking Brake Failed CC-ID 245 – Level Control System Failure CC-ID 246 – Active Cruise Control Disabled, Speed too Low CC-ID 247 – Battery Monitoring Failed CC-ID 248 – Brake Signal Malfunction, Gears May Be Selected Without Brake Just a warning here. Also not all of parking brake failed ids are disabled by this too. |
