Hello there guys..my rear back window was stucked the other day at full down position.. i opened the damn thing and found out that the mechanism is damaged.. i saw on ebay that there is something called "repair kit" includind some tension wire and pulleys..haw anyone tried anything similar?

Never had any luck with repair kits and restringing the cables, I always just buy a new assembly but it may be expensive for a Mondeo????

Edit: Just looked online, 10 Euro for a repair kit, 26 Euro for an assembly. To me it is a no brainer, for the extra 16 Euro you don't have to fuss with restringing the cables and if other parts are damaged....

yes,you are probably right there,if the whole asembly is 16 euro more,it might not worth the pain of it... i was wondering though,if only i could make my own metal(aluminium maybe?) spacers of the cable,using a mini lathe... and use the original cable of the repair kit..i will definitaly give it a try and inform you ...maybe post a video of the whole process,if i can pot videos that is..
