Hey, a friend of mine retrofitted an ambient box for his F10 (and also change the NBT to an NBT EVO). I've done the coding like in this video:
 
But the brightness slider does not work. It always jumps back to the middle... any idea? The box is set up correctly.


Coding;

colour switch = on, 
helligkeit_ambilight = on, 
colour switch ensemble = 10 einträge

Just do VO coding, i have done plenty of these, never had an issue.

Thats the first i've tryd. Added Ambiente to VO and code the NBT...but all options was disabled.

Wait your car does not have ambient from factory?

yes, but with VO coding the options that he needed / in the video was not avaible

the led works over an module and should be controled via idrive - colour change works, but only the brightness slider cannot be changed...it alsways jumps back to the mid

so you have Chinese Kit in car? Which is designed for NBT?
Check in HU --> AMBILGHT_HELLIGKEIT

But it should be possible...and there is a Value for the option to set 8 or more colors

If the module is for CIC you will not be able to control it via Idrive....only thru buttons 1-8 and the Illumination wheel next to the Lightswitch

I´ve done that couple of times...
