Hi, really the only possibility? I know about this (even the location on PCB) and it is for me easier to get the code from the dump by myself than desolder the eeprom and read it (even on this old Zafira and radio with cost of "few bucks") and I also found some pages offering the code via SN (donť know if calculated or from some database or the worst case fake...) even for this Philips but for price that I could have other radio/tuner with a code provided... So I´m trying this... btw. there are still "10 SAVE" so one or two codes can I try... Thanks anyway

23Andi23: 1st (not edited) version of your post looks like taunting and I was almost expecting other answers with codes "to try"
 But sorry, nobody tries, owner goes to Opel service, but if they will ask for more than price of this radio (or better/newer, which can be also for a few bucks...), the author of this safety coding can congrats himself for making garbage (shouldn´t it be fot an extra "eco-tax"? ) Of course there is possibility that someone will make it work even with unnessesary heating the 24c16 but even for someone daily soldering and programmator using this work couldn´t be much "interesting" ...
