There are situations, when u cannot reset ELV !!

Such situations occurs as the owner of the car drives a long time with the fault and ELV will block far away from home. But in that case you will not program the CAS in the middle of the road too. I have fixed hundreds of ELV's and the cars have been running without problems for several years.

Ofcourse, its your job and choice.
I have made many cas2, ca3 without elv , have changed cas2 for cas3 in some difficult cases . All that people has forgot about this stupid elv on forever. Better one time pay more, then pay u everytime for every problem with elv

If the repairs are done correctly, the customer pays only once as in your case and for the next 250,000 km can forget about the problems with ELV. I doubt very much that these cars have traveled 500,000 km and more. Furthermore you do not do your job for free either.

I can disable cas3 elv remotely

I have used a ELV emulator sold on ebay by seller tek.tronics in UK on both vehicles and on the bench with no issues.

this is also what i use, works every time very simple to fit and never had a complaint
