Just some clarification as I found it tricky for my car.
If your car has NBT EVO system (believe for F30 LCI this came in MY2018, so cars produced mid 2017 and newer but please correct me if you have different data) there are two systems:

Business navigation - smaller screen - "WAY" is the navigation you need
Professional - ones marked for NBT evo are usually for the professional navi

NBT EVO does have in most countries free upgrade for 2-3 years and it is done two ways:
1. Over satellite - you need to be in connected drive enabled country (see bmw.com if you are)
2. Over USB - there is a DL SW on bmw.com but also you need to be in connected drive country

As I am not in one of eligible countries I could not update before downloading this package. Only way is to go into dealership and leave the car for them to do it.

If someone has access to BMW donwload sowftware and wants to share never maps in the future - great
