I read posts and do I understand? - that if you change CID of new SD card with new map to your old CID card, it will work without activation ?

MY Friend has a 2011' A1 with RMC. He has two original SD-Cards: 2011 & 2012

Both of them are working. 

Could it be possible that if CID of the SD-Card is connected with the activation? So if this RMC accept this both cards, you just need to write its CID to Samsung EVO and put newest map data on it? Somebody tested? 

Or may be the activation is connected with the meta file on the sd-card?

Any Ideas?

Copying the CID of a "working" card to a card with later maps was tested on a German forum. One guy said it worked but everyone else tried it to no avail.

That's right, copying the contents of the map and with the correct CID is working smoothly only with the same vehicle, it does not mean that it will work with other vehicles, this sd card with the map they are copying must be activated otherwise it will not be recognized

So if I understand you right - when I take out the original SD-Card from my friend's A1, read CID and copy it on EVO it will work with newer map data in his car, right?
