Don't waist your time with this.
The database from 131223d its not match with the 120309a software license
So that (-) in the measuring live data aparameters its caused by what i told you above not about the firmware.
As an example for you. The data base from opcom 150406 b/c/d is working with opcom 131223c like a charm
The database from 150406b Ro version is not working with the 131223e Ro

Since Mattydr67 was so kind to confirm that mix from 131223c with database from 150406b is ok , here is an installer made for HQ Clone just like that to test.
It includes also firmware from 1.33 to 1.60 and ocflash simple+ the one for ftdi.

P.S. Maybe user tjdg will be so kind to share with us firmware 1.64 like this will be all in a pack.

I understand that it will not work with high quality opcom v5 ? Mine have 1.47 firmware and it works fine with VAUX-COM 120309a+131223d.

It will works with moded tools that we call HQ clone
Your opcom v5 its is a HQ one but its is not moded to works with HQ clone softwares
Only if you are able to mode it into HQ clone mode ( but I suppose you not )

Theres no firmware or hardware modification
Only clones in Hq mode can works with softwares for HQ clone softwares
The others can works only with softwares for china clone one

As it has been already mentioned quite a few times, you need to write correct two bytes in the EEPROM memory of FTDI controller that correspond to FTDI controller ID. These two bytes represent the checksum that is created by the HQ clone checker software from FTDI ID.
To generate those 2 bytes you need either original software from the HQ clone creator or a way to reverse engineer HQ clone checker.
Neither of those is available to the community atm.

Is it possible that software 2015 for HQ opcom could damage my opcom v5 ? I connected my opcom interface and started 2015 version.

Today VAUX-COM 120309a+131223 (opcom interface) does not see the car.
Firmware OC-flash update give error about bootloader inicialization.

I will try prepare some pictures late-on. Just wondering, is it possible that 2015 software change something in interface ?

Take a look at the FTDI VID/PID
The newer version of opcom 2015 ( the original one ) is installing the ftdi drivers 2.12
If you have this drivers version installed in your computer then the older version of opcom will not work
So in my opinion yopu have to uninstall the lastest drivers that lastest opcom 2015 installed in your system and install back the older version as 2.02.28

But the newer version of software ( the original one ) will not damage your PIC
My question is why you try your chinese clone? Do you think that it is lottery and maybe you can win?

Hey, i have guys with problems running the vauxcom version under windows 8.

software is kinda slow or doesnt work - stick is working fine on windows 7...

the 2010 version also works fine

any ideas ?
