1. Assign 192.168.0.1 as static IP to the laptop's NIC
2. Run tftpd DHCP's server. In settings: pool starts at 192.168.0.2, pool size 1, default gw 192.168.0.1, subnet mask 255.255.0.0. Do NOT close tftpd
3. Connect laptop with ENET <-> OBD2 cable
4. Make sure that the car gets 192.168.0.2 as assigned IP <- this allows swDeploy to finalise OK.
5. Start e-sys, connect via GW use 192.168.0.2:6801 as connection traget, select correct series
6. TAL processing - select the already calculated TAL and SVT target, in ECUs unselect everything except for swDeploy for ZGW
7. Go to parameters uncheck activate programming mode setting <- this allows post-flash ops to complete OK
8. Check software compatibility, press start
9. Remember to check activate programming mode for then next flash

Hi Breach,
1-> What do you mean by assign static IP? is it from PC network settings? and what about subnet mask and default getway there?
2-> is all changes you mentioned in point 2 are in tftpd DHCP? becase I assume is default gw is the same is default router. subnet mask same as Mask (opt1)? or the default gw and subnet mask are in the network adapter settings?

I'm trying to update my ZGW for updating th IHKA.

Blast from the past wink

1. Yes, this refers to the settings on the computer - network adapter config. IP: 192.168.0.1, subnet mask: 255.255.0.0, gateway not really required here.
2. Yes, these are the settings to use for the tftp dhcp server. What you have in the screenshot is correct.

Thank you I’ll try this today. Tried without tftpd got error. I think it’s losing connection.

Hi agin,

The update works fine.

Updated ZGW and IHKA. Desperately to get independent heater works but no changes. Couldn't find any new code can change something to make it work.

I need your advice in retrofit Webasto TT evo independent heater on my F11 DU48231.
I completely fitted the heater on my car and connected the webasto to w-bus diagnose and everything is fine.
But the car does not turn the Webasto on. It's just keep klicking the changover valve and no heat in the car. untel i disconnect the LIN-bus wire from ether the heater or the IHKA. the the changeover valve stops klicking and heating inside the car is back.
I VO coded the car with 536 code.
When I run ista I could see if it is connected or not and could run some diagnose. Like the fule pump and I can hear it pumping, but nothing else.
Is it possible that because the webasto is newer than the car? I knew it is token from 2015 f11. I saw that many 2011/2012 f10/f11 has Thermo top vevo. Aren't they exchangeable? (TT evo, TT vevo).

Any advice?

Good, glad ZGW upgrade works. No idea about the webasto heater retrofit - you may want to open a new thread.

What is the heater's part no.? From what I can see

64129257006
64129350318

Should work

64129311153 not

You VO coded IHKA with the new VO code which is where my guesswork ends wink
