not sure if matters but comparing original xml from ASAP with generated one, I saw the date format is different and fsc id is not the same..

original xml

gen xml
<genTime>200910160907Z</genTime>

Fsc id comes from the fsc file but I'll fix the time format and post another version.

Flash it back to OEM or replace /mnt/HBpersistence/rcert.swt with original BMW root certificate, and you have OEM functionality

by the way, and i dont want explicitly to disturb anyone, but in some of the .BIN files for NBT/EVO that people sent me, beside the original functionality, in some can be found well, we can call it a malware or a virus. I wouldnt go too much into it at the moment, i would just suggest to be aware what you are putting into your USB as you all know, becker devices have no protection of any kind running on them as they arent suppose to be modified.

So, it's free for installers and not free for others. What's the profit, and who's really getting it? Just ask yourself.

And if he sees in some bin files for evo something that is not present in others, he just says, that there is something in there. And if he sees in some bin files for evo something that is not present in others, he just says, that there is something in there. I don't see why he should spend time looking what that something does. And from your post I guess that you may be one of those putting that something in there, so you can tell us what that something really is.

Prior to minusing my post just think - he's just reversed other people's work and done "his own" program, and then he calling other people work "shitty" - it's not fair play at all. He must respect others people work!

you have a valid point and looks like you are one of the people who are effected by having this available to others ,

but this is the internet , and this is how it works from years ago , today you get a solution which cost 1000's of dollars then by the time passes it will reach a point when it becomes free of charges ,

if everyone thinks the same then all forums should be closed and knowledge will always stay limited ,

I'm 99% sure that you and most of us here including myself , who didn't know anything at one point , then due to a small search we did one day we found the road which brought us to this level , offcourse some people spent more time and efforts due to their technical knowledge than others who just collect ready solutions and most of them it will be sold to clients as you said exactly , we get it for free but we charge to give it to others , but this is how life works .

all those private workshops around the world who charges tons of money for simple job , they get free things from here and there .

last to highlight is : we have to remember that everyone has the right to share or not to share , free or not free as long as it's his work and his efforts .

I explicitly denied any kind of donation or any such thing, i never accepted anything and i just helped people. Why i made usb installer of fsc certs, its bcs i spent more than 2 hours trying to install them via FSTool and failed and i had no other way but to make script which will build up SWTcontroller, i also did this for FREE. Now you should know, as i assume you're the one responsible for it or from that gang that planted this, these becker devices are not rocket science for everyone and i dont need pocket money from forum members, trust me i have more than enough im not interested in this kind of income, as my signle company product probably goes over your lifetime budget, and i have many.
