RE: BMW CIC PATCHER v2 - GENERATE YOUR OWN RETROFIT FSC CERTS
Well I read all pages, and I think I have to do this:

First - my CIC is activated by script, so: I get ISTA/P and program again the CIC, so script is deleted.
Second - I create with FSTool2 new certificates for my CIC and VIN
Third - I convert the certs to xml to import with ISTA/P
Fourth - I apply the patch using the USB Stick
Fifth - I import the FSC codes using ISTA/P

I'm wrong or this way can work?

Thanks!!!! And many thanks Intel for your effort!!!!

RE: BMW CIC PATCHER v2 - GENERATE YOUR OWN RETROFIT FSC CERTS
I have successfully used this method on 2 cars, one with a retrofitted CIC and one with a "genuine" one. Both worked really good!
The USB reboots the HU in a few seconds and then it's easy to just sign the files.

I had some issues at first, but I figured it out. I accidentally had signed the FSC's with the wrong cert!
Giving me all FSC accepted but SWSigCert rejected.

Once I did it the proper way, it all worked out great. Huge thanks for this!!

RE: BMW CIC PATCHER v2 - GENERATE YOUR OWN RETROFIT FSC CERTS
Hi lads, could anyone confirm that l'm doing it in right order when signing fcs with FSTool.

Once FSTool is running under Configuration tab l did set everything as per INTEL123's post #37.

Then under Parameters - Diagnose address 63; Appl.nr whatever fsc u want to work with; Upgrade index 1; Vin (short vin of your car).

Afterwards go to Enabling codes tab>load from file>choose your .fsc file>edit>make changes to vin, date>sign>check signature>save as>close.
