I have a #0910 build E90. I am trying to add BMW apps. Added $6NR to my VO and wrote to both CIC and MEDIA. I now have ConnectedDrive Menu, and within that submenu, Roadside Assistance, BMW Online, Customer Relations, Your service center, Service Status, and BMW apps. Nothing else and none of those submenus work. I have BMW Connected on my iPhone with Spotify as well. Can anyone help me here or via PM. Or possibly remote into my PC to take a look to make sure I didn't miss anything? Thank you.

I was able to make some changes to my CIC and got BMW Online to change to BMW Live, but still not luck connecting my phone or getting anything else to show up.

I updated the following to aktiv from nicht_aktiv
ONLINE_SERVICES
ONLINE_SERVICES_GLS
DUN_PROFILE
PAN_PROFILE
BT_DATA_SERVICE

Personally i haven't done combos retrofit but i thought this manual might help you. This is not my manual i just share it. It is for E60 but it should cover all E series. Hope it helps!!

Can someone help me with apps?

I imported 17, 1B etc without problems. But 9C I don't even can execute the Job Get Status.

Always error when I try to get the import done. What's wrong here?

Now I've read a little but something is still unclear:

I have a 2012 F30 with CIC.
IF I patch it with this and activate Apps etc., will I be able to remove the Patch afterwards?
In case I want to give my car back to dealer. And are they able to tell that I played with the CIC?

Well, let´s try to write all what intel today had done on my cic.

I was not able to import the 1B fsc, and all the certificates for it ... the FSTOOL allways get stuck, don´t know why ...

I ask to intel for a hand for see if I am doing anything wrong, and he put in contact with me and spend nearly 2 hours

In that 2 hours, we meet that my pc allways get stuck when manage the 1B, so ... here comes the magic of intel,



first he did a script for virginice the CIC back, and then wrote an archive with my certifcates on it, with that archive on the usb stick, and plug to the CIC, and...

VOILA!!!!

All fsc, even 1B (the one i have no way to import and activate) where signed and accepted!!!!

So ... what is more unbelivable, is no need of FSTOOLS to update to the CIC the FSC and certs. Just a file on the usb and everything is working like a charm.

Bye bye to the american map, hello to europe navigation ... and see soon the combox for the apps running as far as the FSC is accepted all with my vin.

My Navi don´t work "Funktion derzeit nicht verfügbar". FSTOOL don´t work for me.
Please help me. I speak German. Thanks

Edit: Navi Works, With USB to OBD adapter it has worked fine. With Enet Cable it did not work. Thanks

FSC and Certs create for BMW APPS has not worked.
Error message at Set-Vin.

1B, 19, 17 has worked well.
