you wrote not 770 for A4 - it isnt true

770 is for cars with build in SIM card
767 for cars without build in SIM card reader

so both of them are for A4,A5, A6, A7 and A8 - just SIM card make diffrence which one you should to use

In fact, my audi a4 has the sim slot in addition to the two sd card slots...

I couldn't follow you. In post #63 stays 770 is for sim card also, i dont have a sim slot in my A6 but have the 770 firmware and it works perfect. In the netherlands the people say 770 for A6,A7,A8 and 767 for A4,A5 and Q5 and it doesn't matter if you have a sim slot or not. You say they are both for all models, abd the difference between them is in sim slot or not?

In the update folder is a text file that says so explicitly:
First install official Firmware:
For A4,A5,Q5 and Q7 it is K767
For A6,A7,A8 and Q3 it is K770

There's no difference in firmware between sim slot or not, only model. According to various forums 767 is for an a4,a5 and q5 with sim or without sim.
