I looked at the map and the FW files. No MMI3GApplication is inside !! so I think this file is not modified with FW or Map update. what do you think ?

But now I can't compare the original and patched file because no done any backup. I asked to AlanFord which will proceed before upgrade his system.

I havent FW and access to car right now - but when you will make emergencyupgrade original MMI3GApplication will back to your MMI - so I think its in FW - if not you can make it in this way then you should to write script to read and save backup

when I did emergency update original file back - so I needed to activate map again.

use this script then reset mmi - wait about 2 minutes then hold menu + car

you need to have some trainig how to push and hold menu + car or access to green menu - on begining is hard to access - after some training you will open it everytime

Activation of the Traffic Online function for navigation system MMI PLUS (3GP)



In the infotainment controller you have the option of the Audi A6 4G and verbautem navigation system MMI PLUS (3GP) to activate the Traffic Online function. After activation, the road traffic incidents is adjusted via the Internet connection of the SIM card online. The SIM slot is thus necessary for a successful activation.



The following coding is used:



Select STG 5F (infotainment)
STG adjustment -> function 10
Channel number 69
Bit 15 Enable (+32768)

MMI reset
(Press and hold the menu button -1 -, the confirmation button -2 - (middle), and the navigation button -3 - (top right) at the same time The MMI then goes down and restarts Takes about 60 seconds..)
