Hi..

im trying to copy
/mnt/ifs-root/usr/apps/MMI3GApplication
by script via sd, but its not working

Does anyone know why?

Ive also tried to copy the link /usr/apps/MMI3GApplication, also not working

Its confusing to me, ive found:
/MMI3GNavigation -> /usr/apps/MMI3GNavigation
/usr/apps/MMI3GApplication -> /mnt/ifs-root/usr/apps/MMI3GApplication
but in /mnt/ifs-root/usr/apps/ is only:
drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 0 Jan 01 00:00 bench
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 372917 Jan 01 00:00 diagnosis.cfg

You have the rmc version, not the 3GP. You need navigation on sd card dont know if theres already a solution.

Does anyone have Firmware K0256 for MMI 3G Basic (BNav_EU_K0256)??
Maybe upload it somewhere or give link where to get it?? Would like to skip dealer.

K0256 has different index (i.e. K0253 is CC) and there are also newer versions for 3G Basic, min. K0257 (DK) ...

Hope someone can help.

I am new to this site, & this is the first time I have tried to update my MMI.

I tried to update the FW only on my 2013 Q5 MMI 3G+ from P0530 to K0767.

Update got stuck on 'GEMMI_nav 5%'
Retry gets 'error 141'

Can't 'restart' or 'stop update' - none of the buttons work.

I am in South Africa so I don't think my localAudi dealer will be much help.

Hopefully someone can help.

Error 141 is due a corrupt file, try do to a forced reset and try again with the firmware used in this topic

Hi everybody,

I've read the 40 pages of comments but still some blacks holes for me.

I've an Audi A6 Avant MMI 3G with Hdd from 2009
K0022_1_D1 - 8R0-060-884 ECE 555

If i've well understood, i need first to update my firmware to the latest version with 8R0 906 961 DF. Does i need to follow a specific way to do it or can i directly update it to the latest version ?

After the firmware update does the navigation still work with may old map ?
