I need some information.

I´m trying read my chip 93c76 from Honda.

My question is: Does I need to weld (remove) the chip from the board do the changes and solder again the chip on board? Or just put on the ST01 plug on the chip without remove the chip from the board???

Hy, i have a problem like you on WW CAddy2005 , Audi A6 2007 MB W211 ... anybody have a answer ?

Rather, it is the fault of Digiprog. From what I know Digiprog clones have such problems.

Theoretically, you should unsolder. In practice, no one removes it from the board. Before the change, write down the EEPROM, if something did not go as it should.

Thanks a lot but I have a problem now.

Because I dont know if my ST01 pins are ok or the plug is not doing contact with the chip... Because I cannot read any information in eepron read...

My ST01 pinout is:

Serial 25 side: pin: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 7 - 5 - 6 - 19
plug ST01 side: pin: 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8

Are it ok that?

Hi guys, today i change the mileage on a 2006 jetta, i use golf 5 because it was the one that had the cluster more similar to jetta and worked just fine.
