Hi everybody, My Name is Joachim, I´m from Austria, so please excuse my english ...

I Have a BMW 523i, With a defective DME MS42 (Old Number 14 ....) i had bought a MS42 from Ebay, Number 7500255, 5WK9037
(I tried to Copy full dump from my old DME , to the other one, failed, because spare ECU is newer, another number ...)

I Reflashed it with a Original Software, using Winkfp, Car doesnt Start , Immo.. *brrrrr*

So i used Galetto, With Boot Pin, Read the Full 512 KB of it.
I send the File to somebody, who Erases me the EWS Data , ISN ... of it, when i flash this File to the ECU Something Strange happened...

1) READ The Full Dump (via Boot Pin, Select, Audi 29F400BB Boot Pin, to get Full 512KB is no Problem.
BUT.

How do i WRITE the FULL 512 KB BACK to the ECU ?
When i put ECU in Boot Mode, and try to Flash the 512KB with "Audi 29F400BB Boot Pin", Galletto starts to write, 2% -> Write Error.

When i select normal BMW, MS42, and write the 512 KB File Back, Write is successfull, But ECU Does not Boot, seemd to be in Failsafe mode (When i try to connect the ECU with inpa: ERROR ECU NACK)
(In this Situation i can reflash a MAP ONLY (32 kb) File with Galletto (Normal mode) back to the ECU, and it works, so it seems it never flash the full 512KB... (Or i can reprogram it with Winkfp, no Problem too.)

Flashing Map only Data (32kb) with Galetto is no Problem ... But with which setting i must write the Full dump ?
ECU Is always "on Bench".

(Power on 5 Pins, Ground on 2 Pins, and K Line on Pin3....)

the Files i Attached:
7500255 is the File which is the ECU is working (with Active IMMO...)

FLASHNEW is the modded File , somebody makes me, with immo Virgin, so i can Resync the DME . But i cant Flash this File ...
(File Corrupt ???, or i´m to silly to write the Full dump back to the ecu)
(rename the Files from PDF to Bin)

Target ECU Is: Siemens DME MS42, 5WK9037, 7500255

Can anybody help here ? ) (Check the Files, and tell me how i write 512KB Back to the ECU)

I have MPPS too, But Mpps could only Write Map data, not full 512 KB (Wrong Filesize ...)

Maybe Somebody with BMW Immo ID Editor Can help here... But please look at the "already Virginized File, Flashnew, too, maybe checksum error or corrupt ?

Or Somebody have a Virgin MS42 File (The MAP data, Engine Specific, i can write with Standard BMW WinKFP). But be Aware: MS42 is not MS42 !. (Thats why i couldn´t copy the 512 Kb from my old DME into the newer spare DME), 7500255 is the number of my "new" ecu (My Old one, i think 1437 .....cant get remember..)

Desolder the flash,erase the ISN data with BMW immo id editor,write back,solder,initial start-up with SSS or ISTA.DONE.
