I think worse case scenario if the file flashed isn't compatible you'll fry the ECU. Not cheap but not overly expensive either. Since you've got an M4 on hand do you want to try to finish the steps pshoey and I were doing? I was coding clients M4s remotely from South America but ran out of time to finish all the steps. It's simple safe and won't cause any changes to your car that can't be easily fixed/reverted. No pressure, I'll have another M4 client soon enough I just was hoping we would have the files that need to be edited on hand for extensive research and off car testing before we find a Guinea pig to actually test the flash.

FYI, the GS7D36BG mechatronic unit which contains the DCT electronics is $3300US now not sure if the EGS4 ECU is housed in it, but it's a good guess and not only expensive to replace but also to get to. Some folks have flashed DME with another swfl (ZCP) and ended up with limp mode, which you recover from by flashing back to the original firmware, but who knows how another ECU will behave.

I've already done the TAL calculation for my own flashing and honestly it isn't useful for someone else as the files are specific to my car's version. I'll get the latest FULL59.2 and I'll post them. For now, here's the trio files for 58.3 to 59.0.

Might you know what is the highest RPM setting for the GTS M4 Launch Control ?

According to the F82 GTS complete vehicle technical doc, it hasnt changed: 3000 rpm, can be modified up or down to a max of 500 rpm by 100 rpm increments.

Thanks for the info, but an interestingly strange thing is that in the F80/F82 complete vehicle technical doc it seems they get more than the GTS does?? and bumped it up to 3500 rpm and can be modified up or down to a max of 500 rpm by 100 rpm increments.

At what version did they change this?
