@petkowo: If you haven't solved it yet, there should be 3-4 lines in your hosts file at the bottom starting with 127.0.0.1 and BMW something after (Do a search in Windows Explorer to find the hosts file. You have to edit the file with admin privileges.). Delete all of them (don't touch anything else, just the lines with BMW in them). Reboot and you should be able to open ISTA+ again.

From where would these line have come? I have never had any BMW entries in my systems hosts file, but I do have a corresponding registry key that matches config (BMW.Rheingold.InfoProvider.Score.SCOREHosts 127.0.0.1).

Read it in an old post from Nov, by BB88. Some security feature introduced after 3.56.51 I think. I had to do it with 4.02.21 and I remembered reading it. Something in the config file triggers the addition to hosts, not sure what though.
