RE: 2012 LAND ROVER Supercharged Help!
KVM stands for Keyless Vehicle Module if my memory serves me right. Adding a spare smart-key to any JLR that has had dealer update with any other device aside from dealer tool,at least till now, will kill this module. In result neither old or new key can be detected anymore by the car.
. In all key lost case.. though programming a new key with non-dealer tool will also potentially kill the KVM,in my personal opinion it is worth a try.. why ? Because as far as my concern if the owner of the car brought his car to dealer, the procedure for the job is to replace the old KVM with a new one. . As for SKP i believe it stands for Super Key Programmer. It also known as SKP900 or simply SKP. Sent from my ASUS_T00F using Tapatalk |
