He can flash the whole car at BMW dealer for far less than that and with practically zero risk, so it kind of beats the purpose. Or he can do it at an "expert" like the many on the forum, with some risk, but for even less money.
In my country (East Europe) one BMW dealer would flash a whole car for under 50 euros. Paying 500 for only an ICOM is plain ridiculous weather you
own the newest M5 or just an E87 116i.
