I got today my ICOM A2. How i can check and make sure at network settings are ok? There was red notifications when starting ISTA, but after few minutes its gone. So it done configuration correct?


Need to update firmware, but how? How to login ICOM, do i need put static network -settings to pc?

What IP should use?

use itool radar to get ip address of your icom.

then use internet explorer to log into your icom (see post #17 in the thread below for more help):

itool radar cannot find any IP, i don't know why and what should to do for fix?

EDIT: I just connected +12V and - to ICOM, not connected to car. Is that nessessary?

EDIT2: In ediabas.ini have remotehost IP:172.26.169.196 and interface:OMITEC. Is those correct?

EDIT3: I change IP and interface. Maybe firmware update needs also another wires to connect. Need to connect to car some day.

I tried login to ICOM, but found just this:

leave ediabas as it is
disable firewall
connect icom to car obd port & lan. wait 2 minutes
now connect to icom in web browser.
