you have to be very careful since its multi layer pcb and isolate the layers in between.

How do you do this?

After drilling holes i cleaned them fith knife so the layers are separated because after drilling the copper plates touch one another. and the bolts used to connect cables are isolated with a piece of rubber on the thread so thread cant contact layers, only from top and bottom. with the power supply I used the middle layers are negative so you need to do it on the positive side but just to be sure I did it on both.

If you make the charger by itself you need to use the Ideal diode on the output it will protect the charger if you accidentally start the car while charging.

That is very good thing to do. I dont have it installed but I order it and add to the build. For now I just disconnect the power supply when starting. But even with diode the power supply will try to keep the constant voltage (14v) so it can very easily be overloaded so its best to disconect it anyway.
