You need to read the file first, TPROT is to keep you from mofiying the software, Tuner protection. So in order to make OBD writing/reading safe and be able to normally read and write the ECU you need to remove tprot - so you need to read software, make mods as described and then checksum and write and you will after this, then be able to R/W by obd tools without problems.
