There are lots of different xprog versions. I see people have issues with firmware updates. For somebody who is about to purchase one of these which version is recommended?

I am a little cautious of anything coming from China. i read enough of the issues missing or wrong components in the VAS 5054a. Should we be equally as cautious with the Xprog M?

Reading further Maybe OS compatibility is an issue too.

I presume stability is also down to OS. Which versions should we be running on which OS? When does W7 offer more stability than XP and shoudl we look at 32bit? What about W8 and W10? Should we forget those completely ?

Most softwares were made for xp
this is a known fact and many softwares had problems running on win7 etc so with newer os like windows 8 is going to be an even bigger problem especially if the software is old like most car softwares (CK) are all done for nowadays windows xp and windows 7 32bit systems
how many times do people need to hear this same thing?????

if you want newer working software for newer versions of windows ie 8/10 etc then buy the original and get the support from the developers of said software/hardware.

xprog 5.5.1,5.5.5,5.7.0 works on windows 10 x64 no problem

555. 5.6.0 i try runing in window 10 . buy still not work .. but mine is window 10 home 32bit
