I have a similar clone. As with most coding and in depth diagnostics you should keep the voltage of the vehicle at the recommended voltage throughout the procedure. What happens the BSI goes into a mode which I can't remember the term for but the result is probably what's caused your current problem. If you search on the fly or fvdi website there is instruction of similar incidents it is not the fault of the tool but our inexperience in its use. A stabalised supply from China costs about 300 gbp and needs to be 80 to 100 amps at least especially on many of the German vehicles If you worked for a dealership that paid £30K for software the training side of thing's would have enabled you to avoid the problem. The procedure described on the manufacturers website I obtained the info from advises to connect another RUNNING vehicle to the vehicle under coding or otherwise. This is just a cost effective means of obtaining a stabalised voltage via the other vehicles alternator.
I'm sure it details the recovery procedure of your Johnson BSI. You may have to reset the BSI by the standard BSI methods which are detailed on various areas on the Web after you get things alive again to get everything functioning as normal.
I believe quite a few sellers independent of FVDI that sell the clone advise against its use on psa vehicles when reading pin codes, processes which involve eprom reading etc but I have experimented with a pug that had a BSI which was in need of replacement using the method. I connected stout jump leads to the vehicle at the recommended jump lead positions ( ie not across the batteries) started the other vehicle and proceeded to read the pin code with ease. The vehicle restarted and ran with no ill effects at all. So with a bit of patience you should be able to recover your unit. Even with in depth diagnosis it's safest to use voltage stabaliser ion.
Hope this gets you out of trouble see FVDI website re what it can and can't do

Regard
Colin
