I have a problem with this car.
One week ago I was called to change the BSI of this car. It is Magneti Marelli one. The customer found one second hand with slightly different number.
I have read the Motorola and just transffered the EEPROM. The car started straight away without problems.

After 3 days the customer called me and said that the car does not start any more. I checked the car again and when ignition is on, they are messages for Immobilizer active, VDC failure and ABS failure on display. Checked the live data in BSI - the car recognizes the key, but in the section for communication with engine ECU the value is active for a second and than goes to inactive.

The initial problem of the car according to customer was that the left warning light was always on. I found a burned driver IC in the old BSI.
Found in the web many posts about this problem with the same symptoms, but without a solid solution.

Has anyone seen this problems and if yes what is the solution?
I`m on the way to make immo off of this car, in order to start it, but wanted to ask if someone knows if this type of symptoms are for a known problem.
