My CIC is not patched.  I bought a full unit from ebay US (screen, head unit and a controller) which was removed from another car. 

I bought the retrofit cables from ECSTuning.

I've changed my production date from #0208 to #0909 and added $6VA using NCSExpert

The CIC is coded (by a BMW authorized workshop using a tablet connected via ethernet to the car OBD), they claim it's faster than ICOM NEXT. Not sure what's that, but they clicked on code CIC button and it did something.

Everything works except navigation

Once it works, I'm planning to install Middle East Maps
