hi

trying to update my map (usualy no problem) on cic High but nothing happen when i put the usb stick where i plug it usualy to update my maps...
on BMW E64 LCI with origin CIC, plug on usb plug in gloves box.

i lost my 32gb sandisc usb 3.0 stick then i bought the same but in 64gb. 64gb is fine ? if yes then i dont know what happen when i try to update with this last file : 'Europe West PREMIUM 2024-1.7z"

Try a stick formatted in FAT32. 64GB usually are formatted in NTFS and that isnt a good idea on E-series.

You can still farmat it as fat32 with some tools. Works.

to format as fat32 i use software called rufus - its designed to create bootable usb, do it quite well

Definitely use stick as fat32 (one of the easiest programs for this is in link, just make sure all explorer windows are closed first or get error drive in use).  Make sure you're extracting "Europe West PREMIUM 2024-1.7z" of course and only copying the config.nfm file and pkgdb folder to the usb stick, definitely not a good idea to extract directly to the usb stick either, that can overwhelm some cheap usb sticks and mess up the files on the usb stick - extract on your pc then only copy over the extracted files or you're asking for trouble.

Lastly it seems Europe West PREMIUM 2024-2 has now been released and should be available soon, given how long a map update takes you might want to skip it for now and wait until you have the newer map files?
