Nope, you are not wrong, you didn't post pictures or chip numbers so I didn't know if you were on the correct chip. A lot of people have had problems because of them moving the chips in 2005, and why I posted what I did.

I just use Digiprog on these, and it reads them all as S95P02 with no problems. I have no experience with the GQ-4X, and didn't know your level of knowledge. Glad you got it sorted.

Can you please take a look and may be find why it shows 41km on odometer instead of 0?
No problem with hours - shows 0 as I wanted.

Yes, I did try this option as well, still the same 41km
If I put all FF in the first 2 lines it makes the odometer shows 972011km

What I did find is that km or miles preference is somewhere in EEPROM because if I write the dump from US or Canadian clusters km and mi changes respectively. I didn't find the proper bit yet though

Folks, do you know if 03-04 clusters are interchangeable with 05 clusters? For example if I will upload a dump from 03 cluster into 05 cluster - will 05 cluster work in 03 vehicle or vice versa?

I would have to say they are not compatible. If you put a 2003-2004 cluster in a 2005-2006 truck you will have a battery light on constantly.

However, a 2005-2006 cluster will work fine in all the years.

Thank you. But 05 is different from 06 - PRNDL is as a display in 05 and as regular LEDs in 06. Still will fit all years?

I'm well aware of the differences. The PRNDL display difference means nothing, the Visteon processor in the cluster takes care of displaying the right gear over the Class2 data line based on info from the ECM, it isn't hardwired on any of them. That function is all in the cluster.

Yes a 2006 will work in any year 2003-2006.
