do not risk on that ecu with clone tools, with clone tools u can read with opening ecu, but for OBD R/W please use CMD,MAGIC,AUTOTUNER, or other orig tools, even from this which i write, Magic killed mostly Also every F series my advice buy a GYS flash battery stabiliser. All the best.

my advice for you is autotuner 4900 euro without subsc and free updates, they are for me in 2017-2018 most prospect company, they release almost all solution first, before cmd, beofre magic etc. Bmw f series work wihtout problem, 5 of my dealer have it and maded xxxx bmw never ever problem, they have very good protocols, magic killed xxxx times f series, for magic support main reason is bad power suply but trust me main reason is protocols,
cheapest , and very very stable tool is autotuner. For that money AUTOTUNER is best choice
One more thing u know in this jobs u will need almost all tools, but patience step by step. ECU flashing - ORI TOOLS for sure.
