HI ALL MEMBER FOR AVDI COMMANDER/Bosch  OWNERS YOU CAN SCAN BMW CARS USING AVDI TOOL/ Bosch  AS PASSTHRU DEVISE WORKING WITH Rheingold SYSTEM


1. INSTALL Rheingold SYSTEM AND ITS REQUIREMENT
2. INSTALL INPA SOFTWARE (BMW Standard Tools 2.12) SET PORT FOR USB NUMBER 9
3. INSTALL AVDI COMMON SETUP AND PASSTHRU SETUP/Bosch PASSTHRU
4. INSTALL pttbmw_2.1.0.0 (TO CONNECT AVDI AS PASSTHRU DEVICE )


NOW AFTER INSTALAION COMPLETE DO SOME CONFIGURATION

OPEN START>ALL PROGRAMS>BMWPASSTHRUD2.1.0.0>PASSTHRUD CONFIGURATION.......SELECT YOUR AVDI PT/Bosch PT  AND CHECK IN K-LINE BOX AND LAUNCH CONFIG.TOOL

OPEN PROGRAM FILE>BMW AG> PASSTHRUD> TAKE COPY FOR ALL FILES EXCEPT EDIBAS AND PAST IT IN C:\EDIABAS\BIN\ REPLACE ALL FILES WITH SAME NAME .
YOU NEED Ediabas-Konfigurator TO CHANGE FROM STANDARD OBD TO PASSTHRUD JUST OPEN THE LIST AND SELECT PASSTHRUD AND GO ON

NOW AVDI TOOL /Bosch PASSTHRU /READY TO WORK WITH INPA ,NCEXPERT AND WINKFP
START Rheingold SYSTEM AND ACTIVAT IT AND GO TO SITTING ICON SELET VCI CONFIG IN THE LEFT SIDE (INTERFACE TYPE) TAP ON EDIABAS STANDARD SETTING AND END WITH OK

NOW ALL DONE

Just want to confirm a few things with you please - What would the issue be if Ediabas-Konfigurator does not show the Passthru option?

Those running NODE for k+dcan, should this be removed from BIN in EDIABAS?

TCP remote host and port address, should these be changed?
 Remote Host -  192.168.68.40
 Port - 6801

With tactrix openport 2.0 china clone work.

Find the Konfigurator in C drive and add passthru to the ini file so you can select it.

An other way is using EasyConnection Utility which you can then test your passthru connection, it’s handy.

I test ista d passthru with success on e60, e90. f10, f26 but on e83 x5 not connect.

Hi could it maybe have something to do with the k-line whereas the F series CAN can communicate with tactrix openport 2.0 but not the E- series. Just a thought.
With D-can cable for E-series  pin 7 and 8 must be bridged.
