(12-04-2017, 08:32 AM)intel123 Wrote:  I think it has something with the certificate, if you look at the error it states "Error building X509 certificate of byte array" so i really couldnt know what is wrong as this is out of patch scope biggrin but try everything again following instructions or try reinstalling or re-downloading esys with lite data.

I forgot to mention, my CIC was euro version and trying to activate for Taiwan map, I did passed the first step, CIC rebooted within 10seconds and all FSC cleared.
However, I failed to load new signed FSC with esys 3.28.1 and it had the X509 error as I posted previously.
Was that because I changed the country to TW?
Or it's simply an esys issue? Too new to support CIC?

XZBMW  RE: BMW CIC PATCHER v2 - GENERATE YOUR OWN RETROFIT FSC CERTS
Intel123 and other contributors to the thread, thankyou for your hard work and guidancewink. However, I need your help.

I have a factory fit CIC and successfully flashed it using the USB stick to virginise the CIC. Using Diagnose Address 63, I can use SWT Develop to Store_Sig_cert, Store_FSCS_cert and Store_FSC, then Check_Sig_cert, Check_FSCS_cert and Check_FSC for 17, 19 and 9C. I used a K-DCAN Cable.

All FCS Templates were updated with my VIN with no errors.

The problem is that I cannot do this with 1B. Store gives error code [2090] and Check gives the error code [2020].

How do I Store and Check 1B? Without it my Navigation will not work worried

Thankyou. CW
