You have to use the ISTA Console Launcher. This software can be found here at the forum and also how to use.

An overview of the changes experienced by customers in the vehicle software of the new I-levels{22-03-5xx, 22-07-5xx, 22-11- 5xx, ...}is included with COMPASS. These concern both the software in ISTA and in the BMW Remote Software Upgrade.

There is also newer software for NBT EVO *007_047_001
Any experience with it? Is it still "hackable" with the already known tools?

Then it would be helpful if you could post your errormessages.
I bet you have a lot of missing files that are needed to update ISTA happy.
