Hi I tried to use 7-zip

But still doing the same

I even put some files in a zip and extracted them which removed the blocked file from properties

I have a question the vcredist do I need to only install the x64 as my laptop is 64 bit or do I need to install all of of x86 and x64

Also are these mainly used for ista p or both

As my ista d is working fine

Hi,

I don't personally experience that issue, but I figured maybe that whole "unblock" nightmare is caused by Microsoft SmartScreen technology.
You know, that thing behind the scenes, that watches where a file comes from and tells you that you've downloaded it from the internet and that it's not safe to run it.

So here are a few links if someone wants to try to disable it and see if it solves the recurring "unblock" issue.

Hi, I am trying to connect ISTAD with my DCAN cable. There is something wrong. I have made the VCI Config to Ediabas.ini
Both Ebiabas.ini (the c:/Rheingold/Ediabas and the c:/Ediabas) are configured to STD:OBD
The problem is that it is not connecting and the weird thing is that it is not showing any error. It passes the identification phase without error but without having identified the vehicle, and then it looks like it is diagnosing a few modules but it is not.
It has the same attribute even if the cable is not attached to PC sweating

Any ideas?
