Hi all , month ago i bayght galleto master 4 v54 vdo 300 chines clone on aliexpres , i used for my car vw golf4 and worked super , before 4 days i trayed on my frend car vw golf 4 same as my car and when reading by obd2 says: atention to send log file name,surname ,type etc and stoped to work i trayed to another car same , i instaled on another laptop same error

Try to read it after removing the fuse for the immobilizer I think it was number 11

Galetto sometimes does not work. I do not know why at me too. I reinstall in compatible mode windows XP SP3 and with date on computer 01.01.2012

Yes i trayed same error (with mpps ned to remove fuses )i dont know is hardver problem or software problem

Try make return (restore) windows to date when Galetto worked at you and check on your car.

UPDATE: got it to flash!
I did the ftdi programming ept and read and write eeprom.

But what fixed it was this: Checked blank OK
Then I unchecked erase all flash in flashmagic.
Chose the file, and programmed with 9600 baud.
Verify succeeded!

BUT now, I have a problem with the software!! Copied the patch over.
It says vista or above detected, making a second patch (I am on windows 10 x64). Runs for a bit and then I get some crash. I tried win 7 compat mode too. Also I hear the device clicking and tried with the adapter plugged in and not (confused what the adapter is for- I'm coming from formerly using MPPS v12 which was just a usb to obd).
Tried win XP sp2 sp3 compatibility modes. Tried the date trick reinstall. It just crashes after saying it has to do a second patch.
The antivirus is turned off and I gave all users full permissions to folder to be sure.

I couldn't use the phillips tool like Enabled, but flash magic reads device signature ok and shows crp disabled. I did a read verify and it matches 0386. Used 19200, 9600, and 4800 baud.

Using PL2303 device here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/PL2303HX-USB-to-...1202797465
Jumper is on and the 3 pins are working.

However when I write it erases the flash, then during programming after a minute or so, I get a popup "UNABLE TO COMMUNICATE (transmit/receive)"
I tried 4800, 9600, and 19200. I tried option fill unused flash off and on. No luck. Am I missing something here?
