I'm about to purchase the Digiprog3 4.88 to work on a Porsche 997.
I see on the vehicle list: Porsche 997 MCU Program via chip Porsche 997 Tacho & MCU Programming Via Chips I have no idea what "via chip" means. Has anyone done this for the 997? Does it work properly? Anyone have a user manual so I can make sure it will work for me before I buy this? Thank you in advance. |

Okay thanks Bo, I get it now. Has anyone actually done it for the 997? Does the chip need to be desolder out?
If so, I may want to look for other tools that uses the obd port. Anyone knows which one works? |
