For sure it is working as i am using it i saw on ebay used ones at $9. maybe it helps others which can't find dlink or the shipping costs are triple than the adapter itself(us to europe or vice versa).

For FSC 9C you have to wait quite sometime for it to be fully active due to CIC need to extract zip file from the EEPROM and make changes to its file system. For me, I leave it 1 hour.

Status said "FSC Status: loaded" but the FSC is not activated.

You have to wait until the CIC update your FSC status. Patient must be one of your friends, especially for FSC 9C and 6F. The status loaded then you just wait for the status change to activate.

I have the same problem, after executing "Store FSC" FSC status: loaded.
I waited a while, turn off the car, start car another day, nothing happens, "FSC status: loaded"...

If you do it right it take same time for every code 1B 17 19 9C does not matter, if its say "FSC status: loaded" no way it start to work because its need to be aktive some seconds after importing, you not need click on Store FSC but need choose (Activate Upgrade) why i don't know but this option does more than only store the FSC, also take care that the VIN is set to CIC before import FSC because FSC looks to VIN, if the vin is different its not working.

Activate upgrade = Activate update (STORE_FSC) + CHECK_FSC. Activate upgrade must be used. If you used STORE_FSC, next you must do CHECK_FSC. Apps FSC is accepted right after upgrade, apps starts to work in maybe 1-5 minutes.

6NR -> FA -> code CIC and then import 9C FSC
or
import 9C FSC and then change FA & code CIC?

It does not matter which one you do first. I install fsc first and then code.

Struggling to import 6F code to 2010 X5. Was getting 10802 errors but tried manipulating GDaten files and CarServer folders as described in this post, which resolved that. At this point my status is as follows:

Sig Cert Status: Accepted
Root Cert Status: Accepted
SW Signature Status: Accepted
Requested SWID [6F/1] found

Any idea how I get the FSC to accepted? When I try to activate Upgrade I get error in carserver 2090.

"LogLevel = LOG_NONE" change to "LogLevel = LOG_ALL"
