Hi, I have a small question about diagnostic history.
Every time rheingold is launched, I can see only the last operation report (in operation/finished/operation list). Shouldn't it contain all history, not only the last one?

I noticed that there is no option to "print to file" here in standalone version.
Could you suggest what must be changed in configuration to change print dialog?

Check in istagui.config

This line does not do the job. I've tried with and without this line - no change.
It must be another specific setting.
I have another istagui.config which change the window with much more options, but I cannot define which setting make it. With the other istagui.config standalone version does not print file.
What happened with "not released fix"? Why the thread is deleted? I asked in few thread, but everyone keep silent. I had no issues with installation version, i was able to print out everything on a file.

Why don't u install a pdf printer and set it to default printer? Maybe it is a option for u

The config was already set to dialog. No need to edit the config file. Just set default printer in windows to xps and when printing choose the location where you want to save the file.

Tested on E83 and E60 and worked like a charm. Again, thank you, beemerboy !

Tried on E90 and funny things started to happen. First scan brought 48 DTCs , cleared, second scan brought 137 DTCs, again cleared and finally the third scan brought two DTCs which I am aware of and I believe that are real. This happens every time I connect to the car.(And I have tried 6-7 times.)

I don't think that there is a problem with the software or the car itself, most likely it could be a glitch of the interface (I'm using k+DCan).

Anyway, my question is: Had anyone of you encountered this kind of problem ?

P.S. Of course, I shall try another interface...for now I just need some feedback, if exists....

What production month/year is your car, and what market is it for (North America, Europe, etc)?

2.0 D, M47, 2006/June, European market

Make sure you have EDIABAS 7.3.0 installed,

and if your car was NOT a CANBUS car (KBUS diagnostics; the change was in 2007 to CANBUS), you will probably have to jumper pins 7&8 of the DCAN cable, or buy a separate cable (K+DCAN or KKL cable) and jumper pins 7&8.

I use a PDF Printer as default (Foxit PDF printer)! I can print all other documents, but not the circuits. I see a window with 3 choices: screenshot, ducument and dokument original large. Screenshot works, but with the 2 other choices i have no reaction from the programm...

this is a known problem with ISTA/D 3.51.x.

Not aware of a solution. Only suggestion is using the printscreen button on keyboard and paste into Paint tool or similar editing software. Can get higher quality screenshots that way. Or use microsoft snipping tool that's built into windows.

I know the snipping tool, thanks for the tip.
I prefer a vector-grafik because the zoom is better, but its ok for me when the problem can not be solved.
