I have changed the EGS from my car. Then I wanted to start programming with ISTAP. Then he showed me something like wrong vehicle order. So I switched to WINKPF to update my EGS but I get an error like Security Access.
Then I checked the VO with NCSExpert everything was ok. I compared the VO in the car with the VO from VIN Decoder.
I also tried to write a xmldb.xml and import it to Istap but I get an error that the file isn't correct.
Maybe someone can help me. I built in a second hand EGS ECU and the gearbox manufacture (ZF) cloned my old ECU on the second hand ECU. I had a problem with PT-Can but can is ok also the kl15wup and all other cables going to the gearbox.
with the old ecu there was no problem to start the car but my gearbox went on all the time. With the newer one I can't start the car because the egs dons now with gears in.
can someone created the xmldb.xml for me? vin A298744 or how to program new the EGS

Thanks I have read the same before I did this post. I also created the VO by my self but it failed.

Your created VO in XMLDB failed because it not only does not match the DME, it also does not match the 2nd or even 3rd location that the VO/FA is stored as backup.

I can only relate to what has happen with my VO FA experience. I have a BMW S1000RR and the VO FA is stored in the kombi (cluster ) .. I can create the USB loaded VO and I could not import it because it did not match what was in Kombi. Once I got the Kombi with the VO load I wanted, the USB loaded into the DME. However, even once that was done, there was other issues with trying to get ISTA P to write the complete action plan.

I wrote the VO to the JBE, CAS and FRM. But there is no way to Write it in the Kombi... or dde.

What did you actually do? Did you change the VO in kombi with NCS Expert?
What initially lead to this situation? You were using kombi or dme from different bike?

I tried to program my bike using ista-p3.66.0.200 (it is newest version now) with ICOM A2+B+C, but I had a problem: “Ista-P cannot read VO from the vehicle, let's import the .xml file”
I tried to download VO online too, but without success
Can you help me create a VO (XML file)
or teach me how to create it?
