I'm starting this hard thread hoping to interest the problem some of our older (more experienced) colleges, moderators, admins.

For start I will share my experiences. I could not to make a dpf in this model of ECU (all models of toyota D4CAT, D4D with engines 2.0, and 2.2), then I had made it by emulator. It works, but I have a feeling engine works e little worse, maybe because of cut real signal of dpf thermometers.
Second, and more reliable problem is what happen when emulator fail lets say on holidays 1000 kilometres from home.

Above methods even don't touch other tunings of ECM
I know some tries with positive effect to read and edit Denso programs, please share your ideas, devices used to do it.

I made mine lexus is220d by using Magicmotorsport MagPro x17. It's not that simple , denso ecu was modified about 2 years ago...

Ok, but You made it by OBD, or BDM, I don't know the magicmotorsport, them I'm asking for methods

Cattivik writing new soft it's not simple , you need to have very good interface. Cheapest is toyota ecu flasher. And 2ad engies doesn't have 177 hp, all cars i saw is about 160 hp, so in my opinion dyno run or live data should be done before and after remap.
