XZBMW  BMW E92 New DME Failed Programming & Coding need help
Any member have this issue.

i buy a new DME from BMW Dealership for e92, then try to program with ISTA-P 3.56.3 it failed programming & encoding.

Does anyone have any solution to this?

What fault codes do you have in ISTA/D
are there any communication faults?
is the DME the right one for this car? VIN sticker on the DME matching?

what interface are you using?
could you program with your setup successfully before?

Check fuse(s)
check DME Pins that they are not bend or moved inside the DME
check wire connections are all the way and it's secured position

A LONG time ago, i had to replace 4 "NEW" DME's because car would never start... and after the "5th" DME car started
Some times it take 2~3 DME(s) (brand new) for bmw to function properly smile mainly on e9x series

Could also be related if you use an outdated version of ista-p compared to the software on the DME.

MGU virgin and patching in Europa.

For this situation do not use ISTA-P, use WINKFP and try comfort mode and update the DME with the corresponding module name.
