How to solve such a problem?

normaly you get this error if you have the wrong software with your FVDI

I am thinking of buying a china FVDI 2014 but want to know if i can update the software and firmware to the latest version, also is a rework required tp the pcb?

The new version requires a softdog. Update is unprofitable.
Fvdi 2014 works for me more stable.

Sorry but what is a softdog update? I am looking to work on slightly newer cars ie 15/ 16 will the 2014 still work?

Suggest buy a FULL version 2014 ( most stable version) about $230

Does someone buy and use the clone FVDI 2015 from fvdiobd?
I have their Version 2014 work OK when i need to use.

I bought from them 2014 it works.....(not always...) and after 3 months of just sitting something happened that now when i plug-in the car i always hear buzzing noise coming from inside FVDI box
