So you've successfully loaded 8hp70 alpina egs sw to 8hp45 transmission?

Yes, I had loaded 1367 and 1ee4 swfl to my 8hp45 and coded it successfully, there is no any fault code on ISTA check afterwards also.

The only issue I noticed is the un-smooth gear shift, 1ee4 performed slightly better than 1367 on my 8hp45, however still not as good as the original one though....

My 520d had PPK installed but it shouldn't be the reason caused the un-smooth gear shift on alpina egs s/w anyway.....

you edited SVT-Ist and TAL calculate it, after it flash only EGS, right?

Yes, it's always the same procedure for flash ecu.

Does someone have a detailed instruction how to flash the software?
I tested it yesterday, but in EGS it shows only standard black CAFD, SWFL and so on... after TAL calculation. So there are no new entrys.

Do I have to write VO in VCM? Or is it enough to write it in Salapa elements and then code the EGS with it?
How do I force the EGS update?

Can someone please post details in how to add 920, 9XA to VO and how to exactly calculate TAL and force update?

Oh okay, because wolli from the motortalk-forum said, the best Alpina software for the 5er GT is the one from the D7/B7.

For 530d GT used logically D5. For the 550i GT can be used B7 LCI or B5.

I have now tested all Alpina criss and cross. Have finished EGS TAL for each series created, not need to calculate again, only flashing.
Currently I drive with my 530d GT (300 + HP), D3 SW.
If something is a bit agile and faster, I like it well, but maybe not quite to the character of GT.

Today I flashed and coded Alpina SW into a US 328 N26 with 8hp45 egs without error.
After clear and reset adaption with ISTA/D. I tested it on road. As jackylooo said it is not smooth than original one. I found another fault. When I depressed pedal to kickdown switch "drive train fault" lights on. hulahans is right. 8hp45 egs is not good for Alpina SW but I will test 335,535,640 on other day.

I think there is no problem for LC Flag work with Alpina EGS S/W , it's even working on my 520D without issues.
You probably need to check if LC setting been set to active in DSC's CAFD, good luck!

I've noticed that in sport mode gearbox keep very low gear pretty much the same like on comfort mode

I tested this on my X4 35i last night and successfully coded in the EGS software from the Alpina X3D. No persistent errors or faults definitely driving was clunky as hell, but after 10 miles or so after resetting adaptations it's much smoother. But when I hit the kickdown on accident it threw a drivetrain malfunction and the trans slipped out of gear still showing S8 but the trans was really in neutral since hitting the pedal only revved the engine. Had to pull off the highway and restart the car to get it to reengage a gear. So I'm still undecided on how beneficial this can be for those not already on the HP70. Probably easier to modify the stock flash. I've got the DAMOS for it just haven't spent the time looking through the tables yet really.
