RE: BMW CIC PATCHER v2 - GENERATE YOUR OWN RETROFIT FSC CERTS
I have an issue with this... I tried it before and it worked perfectly but I needed to reflash my CIC with 62.0 and once it was completed I lost my Navi and everything else.It seem it virginized itself.

When I put in the USB stick, no reboots but when i use E-Sys and do the first steps in the How-To. I get the Message Results OK for both of steps 2, I could sign the FSC but when I try to write the FSC to the car, I get an error

"code: RoutineControl returned negative response
description: service Routine Control Verify FSC returned positive response with with result status = FSCS_CERT_CHECK_FAILURE; ECU: HU_CIC_63_ETHERNET
severity: ERROR"

What could be the problem?

I have an early 2010 production 2011 F10', I retrofitted Combox to it only

I am stuck at "StoreSIGCert".
I followed the procedure to store "Sig" but it shows an error "Error: Please enter an Application Number and an Upgrade Index first". I do not see the howto that says I need to input them when doing this step. Anyone help me out of this. Thanks.

Update on my post, I tried another USB Stick with NTSC format and the system rebooted itself but I'm still getting the error when I try to upload the FSC

Anyone know the solution for this?

When you flashed the CIC you probably overwrote the new root certificates with the original ones which is why your FSCs now fail.

I had issues with entering the FSCs and the only solution was to FTP a blank generalPersistencyData_DiagnosticsSWTController file onto the CIC and then re-enter everything.

I think the procedure is mentioned earlier in the thread.

For some reason, my Navi all of sudden started to work. I will try to do that with the other FSCs. Thank You

Don't wanna flash the CIC. Takes to long.
What do I have to do to remove it via ftp?
