It depends of the emulator,the caraystem emulator have this option,bimmer dont know,on the e39 that have y instaled a icam and have guidince line and obstacle options original from the icam camera,the icam camara not need any aditional hardware to se the lines and obstacle mark,yes you need the conector for camera and the handle but is cheap the handle 20euros and the conector other 25euros,whow much for binmer tech camera?y think that is a best option,first talk to bimmer to see if the emulator have this option

I can confirm Icam does not need additional hardware for obstacles etc. Just retrofitted a Pre LCI F10 with car systems emulator and NBT-ICAM works perfect. Wiring loom is pretty straightforward. Can use shielded cable from cctv camera installations. Need power/GND, Can H/ Can L, and FBAS +/-. So a 8 wire cctv cable should be good to go.

So if i correctly understand, i only need icam and his wires ? Don’t need any camera module such as Trsvc module ? Can i install icam to rear and front of the car ? Or only for rear camera ?
