I've an issue with my ME7.2 on 4.6is ..

After a bad flash (With KESS V2) -> ECU No response ..undefined

With a pinout mode, i've flashed back my Original file in my ECU, but .. EWS Problem was born ! 
Car start and die quickly.

I've flashed again and again, do an EWS Alignement with INPA .. and now, car start fine and work great.

But … with INPA in EWS coding section => ISN : ECU Rejected / Password : ECU Rejected 

I think with virgin file, flash with boot-mode and EWS Alignement.. mycar works well again ?

Anyone can help me for virginize my file or immo off ?

that is normal status "ecu rejected". Newer ecu's simply wouldnt show ISN so easy. If car works, dont bother with it, immo is working ok.

So, when I flash back my remap .. I'm scared to brick again my ECU and finally, my EWS won't work.

It's not a good idea to "virginize" my file, and adjust EWS and DME after first turn on ignition ?

I wouldnt do that. If you have original file working and your tuned file with base in original all ews data stays the same so only ews-dme sync is enough. You dont need to do anything more with ews. Of course you can virginize it to be sure but in my opinion its not necessary.

Are you sure you done everything well in your tune? Because if you download file with kess, mode it, and upload back it should work without any aditional work.

My tuned file is based on original data (I read my ECU first, tune file, and Flash).

I've flashed my ECU many many time without any issue with my Kess in OBD mode, but for unknow reason .. the last flash have an issue.

This is the first time I can do an EWS sync after flash, that's why I'm anxious about flashing back with a tuned file.

I think my tuned file work fine .. because car start one time, and die. With just EWS status : NOK, and after turn off ignition, the ECU was undetected.

So, I download my tuned file one more time soon..and see what they do !

You need to read this file in boot mode in order to get the full flash data: boot sector, programming, and calibration sections. OBD Kess reads are just calibration section.
Then I can virginize for you, if needed.




Car starting and dying means there is a problem with your tune.

If there was an immobilizer problem, the car would not start at all.

Hi,

I read the file in bootmode soon, and post-it here.

With my ex-tuned file (work well before flash), after reflash .. at first start : the car run and die..and after, the ECU wont respond.

I've answered french tuner today (I'm french..) and he have the same issue several time on E38 740i, after virginize, reflash, resynx EWS .. car work well !


So, I read my file in bootmode asap, and post my tuned file here.
