Hi I’m new to the forum and I hope to contribute more in the future. I would like to start up a mobile diagnostic service in my location but I would have to get suitable tools to do the job. I would like to be able to offer ecu service such as Immo off and replacement ECUs ets. I appreciate if anyone could give me an idea of the best tools for this.

You need more tools
something for reading and whiting for example I have: galetto on old cars, what is cheap and more expensive Magpro, for new cars.
Then some tool for immo off or virginise - some free are here on web, than you can use immobypass, what is paid, but they have a lot of stuff. Also Magpro have solutions for swapping and immo off some cars, but it depends.

I putting here only things I know or I have, If you want more info, you must be more specific. Types of cars, years... so on. There is nothing what can be used universally.

Thanks Tony. I am interested in newer cars with EDC17/MED17 Tricore bmw, vag, pug etc. Although edc16 and EDC15 diesel and Petrol variants would be more common with problems I think
