hi, im still fix the CHAMP2, anyone can help me with expert mode?

i need to know the correct files for expert mode like the exemple for all units, 62, 63, A0 and 9B:

63:

-Configure ICOM for MOST_ASYNC_ab625
-Open WinKFP
-Select expert mode
-PABD = 08010408CI63F1.ipo (be carefully, do not choose CM63)
-P-SGBD = 33CI63F1_10.prg (be carefully, do not choose CM63)
-ECU-adress = 63
-Data = A9257174
-Program = 9257170
-NAAB = H020270_0202J5

i find some but dont know how where the correct NAAB file

Iḿ trying to replace a faulty champ2 (MINI R56). Bought a new unit, came with no VIN, no FSC's. According to seller, "Brand new, never used unit".
Question: do you know if i can write VIN without flashing it? tool32, fstool?

You just need to code and import the fsc... Done.

Champ has no vin, only 0000000.
On cic units, i just write vin first, with fstool, and next import fsc's.
But with champ, i'm not sure i can do it (at least with dcan cable).

Try write vin with ncsexpert, then code it to default. Tool 32 will also write the vin. You can also use ISTAP to de-install the bad one and replace with new, all automatic. Choice of method is yours

No, never use d-can cable for programming HU. Besides it will flash for couple of ours, it's much probable that your HU will stuck in programming mode, so it's more difficult to recover it then. Always use (better if it's genuine one) ICOM A+B(MOST)

No, never use d-can cable for programming HU. Besides it will flash for couple of ours, it's much probable that your HU will stuck in programming mode, so it's more difficult to recover it then. Always use (better if it's genuine one) ICOM A+B(MOST)
